The following terms apply to the entire content of our website at https://www.gprsos.com/ ("website") and to any correspondence between you and us.

Lost and Found Service

Global Pet Register provide users with a unique online resource for the purpose of reuniting lost pets with their respective owners.

We provide a service in which users register their pets against a product of the Global Pet Register range which includes a unique identification number linking them to their pet.

If found, the finder either calls our 24/7 UK Support Center or notifies us via our website online of the found pet. We will facilitate contact with you (or your alternative contacts provided within your personal online profile, should we not be able to reach you in the first instance) and the individual in possession of, or with information regarding, a pet belonging to you (the "Service").

Legal Requirements

Our Service is available only to individuals who are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and who are at least 18 years of age. Our Service is not available to minors, or to temporarily or indefinitely suspended internet users. A minor can only use this Service in conjunction with parental or guardian authority. If you do not qualify, please do not use our Service.

Registration Obligations

By using the Global Pet Register Service you agree to provide and maintain true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself, and your alternative contacts supplied by you within your personal online profile, as requested by the required forms.

The content of the information will be decided and provided by you and it is your sole responsibility to keep your information accurate and up-to-date. We will not be liable for any incorrect and/or out of date information provided by you.

You are able to update or amend your information at any time via our website, sign in under Login and enter your username and password.

If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, we retain the right to suspend or terminate your Global Pet Register account, and refuse any, and all current or future use of the Service (or any portion thereof).

Password and Security

Your email address and password is required for the registration process. Responsibility for the security and proper use of your password rests with you. You must keep your password safe and not disclose it to any other person. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your password, or account, or any other breach of security. You ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. We accept no liability for any loss or damage arising out of any unauthorised or improper use or disclosure of the password or the consequences of such.

Identity Verification

Since user verification on the internet is difficult Global Pet Register cannot and does not confirm each user's purported identity.

For Your Safety and Security

Global Pet Register will never disclose your personal data to any finder.

Global Pet Register will allow you and the finder (if the finder agrees) to communicate directly to exchange the pet, by forwarding the finder's contact details to you or your designated contacts. We cannot be held liable for any security or theft related incidents arising out of this direct communication.

Please use caution and common sense when using our Service. Please note that there are risks in dealing with people acting under false pretense. Do not, under any circumstances, send money to any person requesting payment for the return of your lost pet. Please report any suspicious activity to your local police.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT EXCHANGES OCCUR ONLY AT SECURE LOCATIONS SUCH AS LOCAL POLICE STATIONS, ANIMAL SHELTERS OR OTHER PUBLIC AREAS.

Our Liability

Pet Register disclaim all warranties or conditions, express or implied, including without limitation, implied warranties and conditions of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We exclude any liability for any claims arising under civil law including claims under contract or tort.

This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, nor our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, or misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter, nor any other liability which cannot be excluded, or limited, under applicable law.

Global Pet Register make no warranty that the Service will meet your requirements and that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free. Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the Service is done at your own risk and you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of any such material.
